We’re highly experienced in playing all types of music. We have all played at all kinds of events and are extremely accomplished in an extensive range of musical styles. Have you been dreaming of a jazz quartet to play for your guests at your evening celebration? Or have you dreamed of walking down the aisle to a classical strings version of the wedding march? We can make that dream come true.

Orchestranet Quartet is excited about bringing a whole new sound to all your favourite tunes. From jazz to pop, from easy listening to folk and from classical to music from the movies, we can tailor our repertoire to your guests and you yourself, so you can be certain there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of their tastes or age. We have a very long playlist, but if there is a piece of music which you really want us to play, we can usually arrange to sort that for you either free of charge or for a nominal fee.

If you only need us for a small part of your special occasion, that won’t be a problem, but if you’d like to use our services for the remainder of your celebration, we can accommodate that too. We can play during your ceremony, during your wedding breakfast as a background accompaniment and as the entertainment for your evening reception. Whatever your requirements, we are here to make sure that your day is truly unique.

During Your Wedding Ceremony

As your guests arrive at your wedding venue, we can help to create a truly special atmosphere. Whether you are getting married in a hotel, in a church or at a more unusual venue, we are able to play your choice of music, or you can simply allow us to select a range of music from our repertoire to suit the tone of your big day.

Music during this part of the ceremony will be the perfect background entertainment as your guests wait with bated breath for the arrival of the special couple. When the time comes for the ceremony itself to begin, we can either play a traditional wedding march or your choice of music for your entrance. We can also play for your guests while the happy couple is signing the register and again on your exit. No request is too unusual for us to accommodate. We have played everything from Queen’s Emperor Ming’s Wedding March from the Flash Gordon movie to “Here Comes the Bride”.

We have a very extensive playlist which we can give you to peruse and select from, but if there’s a particular piece which is important to you, by all means, we can include it as part of your celebration. After all, this is a once in a lifetime occasion, and we want it to be one that you and your guests will never forget. If you have a church service, we are happy to play during your chosen hymns if that is what you wish, but if you would prefer the church organist to play instead, we won’t charge you any extra.

Your Drinks Reception

After the wedding ceremony itself, many couples have a drinks reception with canapes, champagne and photographs. We are happy to be part of this very special element of your big day. You have complete freedom here to choose any type of music that you prefer as a background accompaniment to this sociable part of your celebration. As you greet your guests, we can provide the perfect musical accompaniment. Often, couples prefer a mix of jazz and pop for a more relaxed feel to this part of the day, however, if you have a particular preference for a different musical style, that’s no problem at all.

As we have no complex power leads or equipment, we won’t have any difficulties in moving between locations. That means that if you’re moving from a church to a hotel, for example, we can easily accommodate this. We can even play outdoors too, so if you’re having an outside reception that’s fine with us. All we ask is that you provide us with chairs and some cover from inclement weather!

We can tailor your experience to perfectly suit your tastes and preferences, and we can provide you with a quote based on precisely the time which you require our services for.

We can play all kinds of music, from pop favourites to swing tunes so that your guests can dance and celebrate along with you. We can choose songs on your behalf from our extensive repertoire, choose music within a particular genre to suit your tastes or, alternatively, we can take requests from you and your guests.
